Personal exhibition of paintings by Evgeniya Kashina
From April 5 to April 27, 2025.

At the opening of the exhibition you will find:
Dances of different nations.
Elina Schepkina, head of the Gauri Dance school, will present the southern direction of classical Indian dance - the Bharata-Natyam style.
The group "Endless Dances" and its artistic director Olga Khazanova present dances of the peoples of the world: Greek dance "Sirtaki", Egyptian folk dance "Baladi", Latin American dance "Yolanda". Percussion - Svetlana Popilina. Maral Jabalameli, Iran, a flutist.
Larisa Meshchaninova and the duet "Klyuch" - Olga Sakharova and Andrey Meshcheryakov - will perform songs of their own composition and those of famous authors.
A poetry evening and a tour of the exhibition accompanied by the author of the paintings, Evgeniya Kashina.
The core of the exhibition is made up of paintings by Evgeniya Kashina, painted en plein air in Rostov the Great.
""I fell in love with Rostov immediately, when I first came there with Ruslan Alekseev and the MAO (Active Recreation Maniacs) team as part of a group of 40 cyclists. We came for the weekend, but the impressions lasted for a week, and I made a wish to return to Rostov again with an etude box.
The fabulously beautiful Rostov Kremlin with its chiseled turrets and seemingly hovering in the sky domes of countless churches rises above the calm surface of Lake Nero.
As if centuries had never passed in its lifetime.
And at the fortress walls, artisans and craftsmen still beckon to their shops, selling exquisite tiles, delicious gingerbread and the famous Rostov enamel.
Time flows in a special way here. Or maybe it doesn't flow at all, but stopped somewhere in the 17th century... Or is it the time machine from the film "Ivan Vasilyevich Changes Profession" that continues to work, because it was filmed here? Will you dare to check?" - says artist Evgenia Kashina about her creative trip to Rostov the Great, which took place in July 2024.

The exhibition is complemented by paintings painted in Solnechnogorsk, on the shore of Lake Senezh and in the surrounding area.

Evgeniya Kashina's personal exhibition "Fair Wind: Rostov the Great and Senezh" is held at Library No. 24 - Nazim Hikmet Cultural Center at the address:
Novopeschanaya Street, 23, bldg. 7, (Sokol metro station, Oktyabrskoye Pole; MCC Sorge, Panfilovskaya)
Working hours: Tuesday-Sunday from 12.00 to 20.00, Monday - day off.
The exhibition will run until April 27, 2025.
