I want to drink coffee with a view of the Bosphorus.

I want to walk through the narrow streets of old Istanbul.

I want to walk under the arches of the Topkapi Palace, where Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent loved his Roksolana-Jyurrem.

I want to see with my own eyes the views of Constantinople, which I have long since loved through the paintings of Aivazovsky.

I want to walk around the Grand Bazaar and try all sorts of goodies.

I want to swim in the Sea of Marmara and sail to the Princes' Islands (on the ferry, what do you think?).

I want to write the Blue Mosque and the view from the Galata Tower in the Genoa quarter.

Of course, I take with me a sketchbook and canvases!

I'm going to go again.

I was in Jerusalem twice, both times in May.

The old city of Jerusalem is an incredible density of historical monuments per cubic centimeter, multiplied by legends and myths.

Jerusalem is one of the oldest cities in the world: the first settlements date from the 4th millennium BC. e.   In the XI century BC. e. the city was occupied by Jews and proclaimed the capital of the kingdom of Israel, and from the 10th century BC e. - Jewish.   After the collapse of the Roman Empire, Jerusalem withdrew to Byzantium.   From this moment begins the Christianization of the city.   With the seizure in 639 by the Arab caliph Umar ibn Khattab, the city begins to acquire a Muslim image. In 1099–1187 and 1229–1244, Jerusalem was ruled by the Crusaders.
