Sergey Minkov
Sergey Minkov was born in 1962.
Since 2004 he regularly travels to the open air in the House of Creativity "Academic Dacha" for studies of landscape painting.
Exhibited since 2008.

Sergey Minkov's favorite technique is the oil painting, and
the main theme of his pictures are landscapes with Russian nature.
For the artist, Sergei Minkov there are no trifles. For his work characterized by a desire to understand the inner essence of things and events, to reflect and capture on canvas contemplate it a reality in its entirety. In the subjects of his paintings Sergey Minkov recourse to counterpoint, playing on the opposition. Favorite motif of his work - the opposition of decadent beauty of the dying Russian countryside and the enduring charm of eternal nature. But even in the most dramatic at first glance, the plots at the forefront simple beauty of their native land and the unquenchable thirst for life.
Creativity Sergei Minkov distinguishes bright originality manner of execution and meticulous attention to detail. Subtle sensation of color allows the artist to transfer the mood of the surrounding landscape. His paintings are imbued with indestructible faith in the triumph of life, they are light and upbeat, like a window in a touchingly naive childhood.
