A vivid memory was a cruise to the tiny islands of the Ionian Sea Paxos and Antipaxos. The amazingly beautiful bay of Gaios, the capital of the island of Paxos, still keeps the spirit of the Venetian Republic," - recalls the artist Evgenia Kashina.

On October 4, 2022, the opening of the art exhibition "At the Crossroads of Peoples and Cultures" was held in the building of the Moscow City Duma, organized by the International Commonwealth of Public Associations - Societies for Friendship with the Peoples of Foreign Countries (ISOD).

The exhibition is dedicated to the anniversary of the International Social and Cultural Action "At the Crossroads of Peoples and Cultures", which the IUCN together with the Society for Friendship and Cultural Relations with Greece and Cyprus "FILIA" (Chairman - Alexander F. Petrichko, Executive Director - Marina Kuznetsova) has been implementing since 2012 . During this time, more than 30 events have been held in Greece, Italy, China, Cyprus, France, other countries of the world and in Moscow.

The exposition presents paintings, drawings, watercolors, created as a result of the trips of Moscow artists to foreign countries as part of the action "At the Crossroads of Peoples and Cultures".

15 artists take part in the exhibition: Ivan Toropov, Tina Sharsh, Tatiana Mitkevich-Daletskaya, Clarissa Lonshakova, Ekaterina Shirokova, Evgenia Kashina, Valeria Vinichenko, Natalia Kozlinskaya, Vera Tyurina, Tatiana Solomatina, Natalia Adus, Ekaterina Rozanova, Tatiana Bruni, Yulia Bolshakova , Elena Stukalina. All artists are members of Russian and international creative unions and have been participating in the International Social and Cultural Action "At the Crossroads of Peoples and Cultures" for many years.

The head of the Communist Party faction in the Moscow City Duma Nikolay Grigoryevich Zubrilin, the head of the Public Diplomacy Department of Rossotrudnichestvo Ekaterina Gennadievna Torubarova, the director of the Greek Cultural Center Theodora Giannitsi, one of the permanent participants in the project, the artist Ivan Vladimirovich Toropov, spoke at the opening ceremony of the exhibition.

All speeches noted the importance of cultural cooperation between countries, creative interaction between representatives of different peoples, the great contribution of people's diplomacy and culture to strengthening friendship and international relations.
