Zaraysk, the fortress city. Russia
I was lucky to get acquainted with this ancient city in July 2016, during the traditional summer plein air of the Association of Artists-Teachers of Moscow and the Moscow Region under the leadership of Elena Ivanovna Laricheva.
It was a great time! We lived surrounded by an apple orchard, dined in a restaurant, took a taxi to the beach and painted pictures on the territory of the Zaraisk Kremlin and its environs. Zaraysk is 1 year older than Moscow, and its walls withstood more than one siege. I returned from the open air with 7 paintings, new friends and a lot of impressions.
